Wow! Another month has started!
Today has been a day of labor. Work, work, and more good work. I started off baking chocolate chip cookies, then got a text from the woman running the rummage sale, wanting to know if I was going to bring her money today. "Money?" I texted back. "Yes, the seed money to start the rummage sale." was the answer. Oh, good Lord. Good thing SHE remembered, because neither I, the treasurer, nor the president/chairwoman did not, and that's kinda important! So, I had to track down someone else (we need two signers on a check) and go to the bank and get her the seed money, then take it up to her.
After I got that done, I went on down to WalMart to get more baking needs to continue my making & baking all day. I knew I would have to at some point, I just didn't expect to quite so soon.
Before going to WalMart, I went ahead and got my gasoline for tomorrow, and then to Bob Evans for some lunch - I figured I might as well have a good lunch, since I was just going to nibble while making and baking!
Then I got my shopping done, came home and dived back into my making and baking.
Ron got home around six, and I'm still hip-deep in making stuff, and I finagle him into peeling the potatoes for the potato salad for tomorrow. He wasn't happy about it, but he did it, then got the hell out of the kitchen for a while. He did come back out to make supper and made me stop and sit down to eat my supper. I had the potato salad finished by then, and we both enjoyed some of that with our hamburger patties, macaroni & cheese, and green beans.
Needless to say, I did NOT keep track of all my food to put into MFP today. I did put my exercise and my lunch in there, so my streak is intact, but I will not be able to close today out. Oh, well.
Now, here it is, almost midnight, and I am still dunking Oreo balls into chocolate, finishing them up. I may get done by 2. And I have to have all the goodies up at the church around 8:30 in the morning! Ugh, for sure! I hope you guys are planning on coming up to our Rummage & Bake Sale and buy some of this! Clothes are $4.00 a bag, so that's a pretty darn good deal, too!
