Today was just another long boring day for me. Just another day of laying in bed, with getting up every now and then to get on the pute or wander around the house, just trying to build up strength.
I am now able to be on the pute for about an hour at a time - when I am wearing the back brace, and about 15 minutes when I am not. It helps a lot to scoot the chair back so my back is stretched but it feels funny (and I'm sure I LOOK funny, too) and I can't stay in that position for long, so I am usually always changing my position. It's certainly different from when I used to get up, sit here and stay here all day!
When Ron got home, he made us both salads for our suppers, although I just had a small one along with chicken noodle soup - he had his normal 'big' salad.
Then, believe it or not, around 11, I got ferociously hungry, so I got up and made myself 6 slices of buttered toast with a small glass of milk for a snack. I know - amazing! After that, I fell asleep rather easily and slept very, very well all night long.
