2/8
Sunday! Church, lunch, and .... nothing, now that it's February. Just church and lunch, but that's okay, because lunch today was with friends up at Country Inn in Georgetown (Ron couldn't wait to get some fried chicken!), and we sat there until after 2:00, just enjoying the time and company and, of course, the food! Ron, of course, got his fried chicken dinner with mashed potatoes, green beans, and cole slaw. I got the big breakfast that is a favorite.
When we were done with our meals, we went to the car wash to wash this go-round of winter off of the car - yes, we know it's supposed to rain today or tomorrow - but the car was looking sad. Then we went to our friends' house to help them take down their Christmas trees. They put one up in every room, each with a different theme, and it takes them a while to get them all down. For some reason, this year, they are having trouble getting the trees apart to put them away. I assured them that Mr. Muscleman would have no problem whatsoever, and he didn't. He had the job done in about 10 minutes! We stood around talking and visiting, even though we had just sat and done the same thing for over 2 hours at the restaurant, and then we finally came home.
Once home, Ron watched the second Transformer movie - the one that he slept through the other night - and then we watched the third one. I was impressed! He stayed awake through both of these! After that, it was dead guy time until the bed called us. We had paused the movie - whichever one was on at the time - and made cheese weenies for our supper, which we supplemented with potato salad Beverly had given us. Beverly's potato salad is wonderful!

Monday. Ugh. Who likes Mondays?
Okay, I admit - I used to, to a certain extent. But then...
I woke this morning around 10, then did my reading/tableting and got up around 11:30. I played Happy Homemaker, getting the weekend dishes done, which is a job and a half, as usual.
At 2, I ran uptown (okay, smartasses - drove) to do the Altar Society raffle drawing. We're supposed to to that on the first Wednesday of the month, so we're not so very late this month.
I get back home and stripped back off. I sure didn't feel like keeping that damn bra on! So, back into my housedress it was and back into my recliner I went. I spent the rest of the afternoon there.
After Ron got home a little after 4 - really early for a Monday! - I did some exercises on the Wii. I did manage to do 3 exercises this time, which lasted about 20 minutes, so I was feeling pretty good about that. But then it was back into the recliner, which lasted the rest of the night.
I got up (2 and 3 and 4 and 5 times) and made some supper in the midst of watching TV - dead guys, of course - and we ate supper at 7. I made chicken breasts, like what I make in the crockpot, but I made them in one of my cast iron skillets, along with green beans, pinto beans, and the rest of Beverly's potato salad. Let me clarify - Ron had pinto beans, and I had the potato salad. Hey, it worked for us!
Then it was just TV the rest of the night - whee, we are wild and crazy people!
Nothing planned for tomorrow, although I do have my TOPS meeting tomorrow night. I suppose I should really focus on doing all of my exercises!
