A busy day so the weekend can be at home for football!

Friday, January 8, 2016

I woke up this morning, checked my FB, caught my word games up, then got my lazy ass up to take a shower, get dressed, and hit the road!!
I had things to do! There are football playoff games on tomorrow, including my Bengals, and I don't want to jeopardize my chances of being home - you all know how my luck runs!!

After stopping at the bank and at church here in Bethel, I headed on down to Amelia. I had to go into Walgreen's, then I went on down to Don Rigo (in the Kroger plaza) to have lunch. I like doing that because it lets me bring Ron some food home and, trust me, I don't do that anywhere else.
After my lunch, I went to WalMart, got gasoline first, then did my grocery shopping, managing a nice WalMart Walk and getting everything on my list but one thing, which can easily wait until next week. I then headed back to Bethel, where I stopped at the bank again to get Ron's money out of the ATM and then at Save-A-Lot for the 5-for-$20. meat. They have such a better selection than Felicity IGA! I'm so glad they finally opened!!

Then, finally, HOME!!
Only to discover that Ron beat me home - how cool is that? He is fighting a cold and doesn't feel real well, but it's that time of year....
We get the groceries carried in, he goes back outside, and I get everything put away. Yay!!

I took a short break, then I went into the bedroom and put away all the laundry that's been gathering in baskets in there.
So, I've done my Happy Homemaker bit today as well as getting all the errand-running done!!

I am so ready for football tomorrow!!!!!
Orange and black, babeeeee!!! Wear those colors for subtle, silent support, please....lol.
