...and the week goes on

Monday was a normal Monday - a Happy Homemaker day.  Dishes, laundry, all that fun stuff.  The house looks as it normally does now - still dirtier than most peoples' houses are dirty, but mine is considered clean.  I did get a little energized and cleaned all my kitchen counters on top of doing the regular dishes, too!  Moved stuff, cleaned under them (yuck!), and rearranged things putting them back - yay, me!
I had a sausage, egg, and cheese croissant for my lunch after doing the dishes, and between the loads of laundry.  I thought about putting food in the crockpot for supper, but never did.  We ended up having some leftovers from out of the fridge, as well as boiled potatoes and green beans with half a jar of mushrooms added to them.

It's also a little warmer - low 30s - today, and all the snow is starting to melt.

Tuesday was more of "normalcy."  Blah.  I did do up the few dishes that we used the night before, but I didn't do any laundry.  I probably should put away the laundry I did yesterday, but I didn't.  I just piddled around the house, doing small chores here and there, because with the Super Bowl and our party coming up, all these little things become big things.
I didn't eat any lunch - we've got some financial stuff happening and that's on my mind.  The phone calls that I made today didn't ease the worries any, either.
Ron takes me to my TOPS meeting, where I learn that I have lost 1.8 pounds!  I guess making myself eat 1500 calories a day is working, but DAMN is that a hard lesson to learn.  I want to eat less, not more, but evidently the 1500 calorie diet works for me, and not the 1200 one.  Ugh.  So, I've got to go back to that, I did lose 40+ pounds doing that before, so cross your fingers for me!
He made supper while I was at my meeting, and we ate after he came up and got me.  He had made Manwich, and we had potato chips with it.  It was good, and it was tasty.  I had an ice cream for my dessert an hour or so afterward.

I have a meeting up at church tomorrow afternoon, and I'm hoping Ron gets home in time, but you know how our luck runs on stuff like that.....and most of the snow is gone now.

Wednesday was a little more exciting.  Ron didn't get home, so I drove uptown to go to the library, go to Gold Star for my lunch of a GoRito and an order of Chili Cheese Fries, and then to my meeting at church.  I prayed for protection as I left the driveway, let me tell you!
My prayers were answered positively, and I made it back home safely.  I was glad, because I had been so very worried.
I then did a load of laundry (towels) and I even stripped the sheet off the bed and threw it in the washer, too - see, big excitement here!  Then Ron got home from work, and our evening commenced.
I made pork chops, mashed potatoes, and corn with the other half of the jar of mushrooms added in for our supper.  I'm having an ice cream for my dessert, too.  I've already put everything into MFP, and I'm about 100-150 calories short for the day.  Still!  Ye gods...

Ron's surgery - to remove the mole on his elbow - is tomorrow.  If you think of it, around 11:30, please throw up a prayer or good thoughts and vibes for him and the doctor's hands if you will.  Thanks in advance!
When we're done there, it's off to lunch with Bert and Teresa, then he has a follow-up doctor appointment with our regular doc about his ear infection.  It's not cleared up - it still "closes up" on him, so we think he will be getting more antibiotics for that.
Josh will be driving us - nothing like a chauffeur - but I'm not sure he knows what kind of day he's in for!
