I got up today at noon. Pretty much right on the dot.
After catching my games up on the computer, I finally got to check out myfitnesspal.com and I think it may work out pretty good for me. Maybe. I can't figure out how to put in a different amount than what they have already listed, but that will come with time. Also, things like tuna or potato salad that are made so many different ways are a little confusing, too. I will perservere, and I will figure it out eventually, though. Same thing with exercise - if you can't put in x amount of minutes, it won't let you. Strange.
I ate my lunch at 2:30. I had 3 slices of cooked ham (lunchmeat) cut into small pieces, a string cheese, a banana, and a serving (1/4 cup) of walnuts. I entered all this into the food section on myfitnesspal and have plenty of room for supper, which is good, because I have a meeting tonight & everyone will be bringing some type of salad for our refreshment, and that will be my supper.
I moved all the books (well, the two small crates) that K.O. and Beth gave me into the bedroom and moved old books around and the new books into the cabinet. I got two garbage bags of books to give to my sister ready - some read, some copies, some I am not interested in. Lugging those crates down the hall and into the bedroom was not easy! Books are very heavy, you know. My arms started aching. I figured that was enough exercise for today - it probably wasn't, but I was okay with that.
I went to my meeting and for supper, I had a crab salad (maybe 2 or 3 TB, not much, just about 5 bites), potato salad (probably 1/2 cup - I had 2 spoons (small spoons, not serving spoons) the first time, 1 the second time) which was bought at IGA, some tuna salad that was homemade (probably 1 cup of this - I LOVE tuna! It was made with mayo, pickles, and maybe onion) and some salad that I took - shredded lettuce, spring mix, cherry tomatoes (both red & orange), celery chunks, baby carrots, and cheese sprinkled on top. I would say I had 1/2 - 1 cup of this mix. No dressing. I dunked it in the potato salad! LOL
After putting all this into myfitnesspal, it said my calorie count for the day was 1217, and, yes, that includes my nut bar for my snack. WOW. And I even had a little bit of carbs, with the potato salad, too. It did say I was over on my sugars and my fats, though, and that's not good, but I will have to learn to balance that out. I will have to put a little more exercise into all this, too, though, as soon as I figure out HOW to put it in! And get off my butt and do it...
Interesting.
ReplyDeletedon't remember what I ate today or when. for exercise I mostly put away my yard sale -- doing no business anyway, what with sick babies and trips to the hospitals and days that are NOT birthdays (only one of those this week)
And hauling baby around -- something I did has my back tied in knots. Thought I was going to fall frying bacon (and eggs)for Rex and Hailey. (I had four pieces)
It IS so hard to get motivate dto DO anything
