long boring day

Today was a very long, very boring day.  I had a seminar to go to for unemployment.  Yeah.

I got up, got some things ready to mail, then left, putting those in the mailbox.  I stopped at Bob Evans for my Chicken Salad Plate - probably my last one, being that Labor Day (and the end of summer, and summer promotions) is Monday.  Boo.  I thoroughly enjoyed every single bite of it and my banana nut bread!  Then on to the boring old seminar, which ended up not being as bad as I feared, but still bad enough.  I did learn a couple of things, but I could definitely think of more pleasant ways to spend a day.

After leaving the seminar - a half hour early, even! - I stopped at my friend's place to visit with her a bit.  I haven't been able to just sit and chat with her since vacation, and it was a very nice hour or so.  After leaving her place, I stopped for gas (I saved eight cents a gallon, going back over to my WalMart!  Yay, me!) because I am driving up to Mt. Orab tomorrow and who knows how much gas will be going that direction? Then back home, where Ron was a slacker and did NOT have our salads ready and we wasted another half hour putting them together before we could eat our supper.  Then, Mr. Dork put his salad dressing on HIS salad and put the dressing away and didn't put my dressing in a rammekin for me!  Thanks, dude! We then ate our salads sitting in front of the TV, as usual.

No exercise whatsoever today - that's two days in a row.  Not good.  But I can make it up tomorrow, I suppose, after I get back from Mt. Orab.  I hope I feel like it, anyway.  I hope I come home in a decent enough mood to want to do something physical, anyway.  That is my hope right now!  I do not want to come home steaming mad...

I would give today five stars for food, but it ended up one of those strange days that ended up over on calories on myfitnesspal but under for TOPS.  If I had gotten some exercise, my minus would have balanced out the little overage, but it didn't happen, so I have to be happy with the plenty of fruits and veggies, good on carbs and fats.  Whoo-hoo.  So, today gets four stars for food, and zero for exercise.
