Mondays....blah

Monday, August 19, 2013

Today was a very blah day.  I'm not sure why, I just didn't feel like doing a darn thing.  I think after having such a busy weekend, getting back to the normal workday weekday, it was just plain ol' boring.  And, yes, I was bored, and, no, I did not get up off of my ass and do anything to change it.  I thought it a couple times, but then didn't.  I know, my own fault.  I didn't even do my Wii training.  Then Ron got home, there was a message on the phone, he had me check it, and sure as shooting, we REALLY DID win one of items we bid on yesterday at the bid-and-buy auction at the church festival!  Yay, us.  So now we have to run down the road to pick up Corgan's birthday gift. (We won the boy's 20" bike.) Yay, something to do!  Ron had to go finish the mowing that it got to dark for him to do the other day, anyway, but on a Monday, damn that's rough on him.  Oh, well.  It's done and over with now.

On the way home from down the road, we stopped at Gold Star Chili for supper.  We each had a 5-way and a cheese coney.  I had had my chicken salad, walnuts, and a banana for lunch, so altogether, today was a pretty good food day.  No exercise, though.

I have a neurologist appointment in the morning, maybe I will feel more energetic tomorrow, what with getting out and about.  We shall see.

Today gets four stars for food, and zero for exercise.

  1. I "exercised" for both of us. Wondered where that get-up-nd-go came from. After a slow start, got Tracy to the hospital to apply for financing, got her prescriptions, came home, put away some laundry, hung out laundry, put away some, hung some up inside, then brought in and put away some more. Washed dishes, cooked twice, swept bathroom trash into a pile but can't find my dustpan with a handle that I use to pick things up. That is often a missing item when Hailey has been around.

Doesn't sound like much, I know, but I have been so unenergized that anything is an improvement.
