Today has been pretty miserable. Throat is still sore (not viciously, thank God, just sore) and I am much more congested, way far up into my sinuses. Ugh. It has not been a fun day, just trying to breathe.
I got up around noon - and this after turning off the light around 11 last night. Oh, thank you, NyQuil. I am so glad I bought more and can take decent doses! I do have to get up in the morning, so am hitting the hay early tonight (it's only ten now) and hope to be up before Jean gets here in the morning. I figured that I needed hot food for my lunch today, so I made myself eggs for my lunch. I did cook them a bit too long - I was on the pute, and forgot I was cooking them, so I ended up with making them into a sandwich with my toast instead of being able to dunk with the toast. But, my own fault, so...
I tried to ride the exercise bike that Ron and Corgan got put together over the weekend. I didn't even last five minutes. With all this congestion, I just could not breathe. So....I'll try something again tomorrow. Today, it's more DayQuill and cough drops. My, my. wonderful time of year, right? LOL
Got a call from Josh at quarter after five - his battery is dead, can I come give him a jump, seeing that his dad isn't home yet? Ugh. Well, okay, but... Luckily, just as I'm getting ready to leave, I got a text from Ron saying he's on his way home. I text Josh & tell him I'm gonna wait for his dad to get here, and then we'd be on our way. He said okay, I wait for Ron. Ron gets home, I fill him in, he gets some things from the garage, we take off. He does what he does, and it takes less than 15 minutes...yay. Back home for us.
We got the ghosty-boos - the last of our Halloween decorations, unless we get some pumpkins and gourds - up in the trees in the front yard, and come in for the rest of the evening. Supper for me was chicken noodle soup, and I don't know what he had.
I was waaaaaaay under - like 700 under - my calories today, and myfitnesspal wasn't happy with me, but I can't help it. I was really surprised when I was hungry enough to want to have a bowl of cereal after supper. I did. I had a bowl of Cap'n Crunch Crunchberries. 3/4 cup of cereal with 1/2 cup milk. So there. A REAL serving/bowl of cereal!
Five stars today for food, and - no surprise - zero for exercise.
You should get some credit for trying
