Absolutely nothing of any importance happened today. It was too freaking cold! The phone ringing woke me up a little after noon (I was up until after 3 this morning, playing on the tablet...), and it was Bert wanting to know how my day went yesterday with Teresa. I was telling her the whole sorry story, and then Ron called while on his lunch, so I just stayed in bed, all cuddled and huddled up under my quilt while on the phone.
After hanging up, I then did my normal playing-on-the-tablet and reading, as I do in the 'mornings' until I finally decided to get up, which ended up being after 2. Man, was it a bit chilly here in the house! The temperature out here in the living said it was down to 60, so I turned the thermostat up, but you know that's gonna take a while. I also turned up the thermostat in the kitchen without even checking any of the thermometers out there. Brrrrrrr! Good thing I automatically had put on a pair of sweats and a T-Shirt, although I did go back and change to a long-sleeved T-Shirt.
I did piddle around, taking down more of the Christmas decorations. I might get them all down by the end of the week at this rate. I feel like a little old lady, though, and am not pushing myself to get this job done quickly. I also did my standing-up exercises, but I sure moaned and groaned while doing them! I am starting to wonder if I am going to make it through the cold winter months -- this does not feel good, not at all.
I had put on a pot of beans for supper, and I spent the rest of the day in my recliner, reading. I only have one more Christmas book to go! When Ron got home a little after 6, we buttered up some bread and had our supper, and spent the night watching game shows and dead guys.
Once again, no plans for tomorrow. I might get my Sports Tree down, though. Maybe. That's the last thing, and I might wait and let Corgan help me on Friday night - we'll have to see how I feel tomorrow.
I will tell you this. When I go to the doctor on the 27th, I'm gonna need more than 15 minutes!
