Ugh! What a day - not a day at all.
I stayed in bed all day. All. Day. Didn't get up at all, except to go to the bathroom. My back hurt so bad and was so stiff, it was almost as bad as just after my fall. And, on top of that, I just plain ol' didn't feel very good. I didn't really feel bad (sick), but I sure didn't feel good. I dozed off and on all day long, and I mostly just laid there and read - I didn't even feel like messing around on the tablet. That's what I did yesterday (the 1st), too. Just read - like in the "old days" as in 'before the tablet.' - book after book. I got 5 books for Christmas, and I have finished 3 of them now.
After Ron got home from work, and I couldn't even tell you what time it was, he let me stay in bed, but wanted me to get up and sit in the living room to eat supper with him, so I did. After all, he had made it and everything. I came out and plopped into my recliner and ate my 3 cheese weenies and blindly stared at the TV until bedtime. We didn't have Corgan this weekend, because Ron has to work tomorrow, so we just went to bed once he woke up and decided it was bedtime.

I had planned to get up today and go do my grocery shopping while he was at work. I was in the shower when he came in, though, and in the end, I didn't go shopping. I didn't want to go after he got home - I wanted to spend time with him - and he didn't want to go shopping, he was tired, so I just put it off. I still didn't feel real great, but was forcing myself to do 'something.' The 'something' ended up being sitting in my recliner and watching TV with Ron until football came on. I did do my weigh-in, and I gained 12 pounds! Remember the Wii said that I had lost 10 pounds last week? Well, I knew that wasn't right, and this week proved that. Something was wonky. So, according to the Wii, I gained 2+ pounds over the holidays. Blah.
Once my football came on, nothing else was gonna happen anyway - no shopping, no going anywhere, no nothing! Between the two football games, we made supper. I cooked myself a pound of bacon, and he made himself one of his frozen Chinese things.

Sunday. Church, lunch, football. This scenario is good for a couple more weeks, but that's it. Man, am I gonna miss it.
After church this morning, where I was lector, we went to Georgetown to Country Inn for our lunch. We both chose breakfast again - I had the big breakfast, as usual, and Ron got a country fried steak breakfast. He's getting adventurous on me! Watch out now!
Home for football, and we made it in time for kickoff. Since this is Wild Card Playoff Weekend, kickoff wasn't until 1:05, and that 5 extra minutes let us get home. Whew! Not that it did much good - my Bengals still ended up losing. They did fine the first half of the game, but forgot to show up for the second half. Phooey! So, we are out of the playoffs ("one and done" once again - but we've made it to the playoffs for 4 years in a row, and that's nothing to sneeze at!), and I got down all my orange and black goodies that I bought back around Halloween (when else are ya gonna buy that color scheme?) and dug in. I'm not looking forward to my weigh-in this week...
We made Hamburger Helper for supper (3-Cheese Pasta), and that was good. After football was over, we watched dead guys until he went to bed, and here I am, playing on the pute.
Tomorrow, things will hopefully get back to normal. Happy Homemaker stuff and some phone calls that need to be made are on the agenda. If I don't hawk a lung up first.
