I was up this morning until 3 to make sure that Ron got up to catch his ride to work. He was riding with my brother, who had to be at work much earlier than Ron usually does (remember, he sleeps in now since he moved to roll-off trucks) and his sleep pattern has been all messed up this week. It was a good thing I really had no plans for today (except walking with Lois, which was cancelled anyway) because I had no idea what time I was going to get up!
In the end, I woke up just before 11 - not too different than usual. That's good, I guess my body is used to that time, and I suppose that's a good thing. It's certainly not a bad thing.
I piddled around here in the house, doing a load of towels, dishes, and other little tasks that every good little housewife does over and over ad nauseum (one of the main reasons I hate housework). I never did get the clothes I did yesterday put away, though. That job just seems to never pop into my brain, and it usually doesn't get done until every basket is overflowing. Ugh. Good thing we don't mind living out of baskets!
Around 2, I finally got my lunch - chicken salad and my marshmallow eggs- and got on the pute for a little while. After getting my games and all that all caught up, I did my Wii training for today. I tried some new exercises, but didn't do a very good job at them, not surprisingly. I will get better with practice - the ones I will do again. A couple of them, I didn't like and won't do again. My left hip was aching today, and by the time I was done, it was really screaming at me!
I played mini-golf on the Wii until Ron got home after that. I have to keep practicing that, too! Corgan will expect to play when he gets here on Friday, so we must be ready.
After he got home, he actually got to work on Josh's car a little. He got the new part on, but didn't get to break down the tire and put the new tire on the rim. He was just too beat. But we are getting there. Hopefully, he'll be able to do some or all of that tomorrow night, and then Josh's car will be ready to go back to him. Then I can have my car back, and if Ron's truck is still down, he can drive it instead of trying to find rides every day. We are hoping he can fix his truck on Saturday, but, as always, we have to wait to see what the weekend brings.
Ron had one of his frozen Chinese things for his supper, and I made me my poor man's shit-on-a-shingle. It wasn't much of a supper, but it was good hot food. I later had a serving - the last of the bag - of my marshmallow eggs for a snack.
We played a round of mini-golf, then it was time for Criminal Minds, so I turned it on (and it was a rerun - ugh!) and Ron fell asleep in his recliner. Now here I am on the pute, trying to get this done so I can go to bed early. I have to get up in the morning because I have a heart doctor appointment, which I'm looking forward to finding out if I have 'improved' or not, but knowing my luck - I'm not holding my breath.
When I put my food in MFP, I was almost 700 calories short for the day! Yep, MFP hollered at me, and yep, I'm taking my jar of jelly beans in to bed with me.
