I woke around 9:30 this morning, and read til just before 11. Then I got up and played Happy Homemaker, doing dishes and a load of towels before starting in on my baking.
Then I baked, and baked, and baked some more. After the baking, then I had to decorate the cookies. I did take lots of little breaks, one for lunch - chicken noodle soup - and some just to sit in the recliner and rest my back, not that it helped much in the long run.
By the end of the day, my back hurt SO bad, it just wasn't funny. I couldn't even describe it to Ron, and he just griped at me for trying to do too much. He didn't understand that it wasn't really 'doing too much,' it was the rolling of the dough and the bending to get the pans in and out of the oven, things like that. But...my back still hurts, and that's all there is to it.
I sat in the recliner to decorate the sugar cookies while watching TV as Ron made supper - it is Man Cook Supper (or words to that effect) Day, right? We had breakfast for supper, so it was easy enough for him to make.
At 8:00, I watched Bones, then turned on the football game, as I do every Thursday. Only difference is, this week, my Bengals are on the football game. It's kinda sad, cause they don't do so good when they are on during primetime, so I'm a little afraid of what might happen tonight. But - they are playing here, and they haven't lost here, in the Jungle, for almost 2 years. So.....we shall see.
And we are seeing them play like crap. Normal night playing. I'm going to bed. I surrender! (I usually go to bed at Halftime, so it's not a big deal. I have hung in there until the end of the 3rd quarter...)
Tomorrow, Craft Show all day long. Fun times abound.
