I can't breathe. I can't talk. Yep, it's November in Ohio.

Not much going on today.  Ron woke me up this morning to tell me that he was taking my car to work instead of his truck.  That was fine with me, since I had no plans anyway.
I re-woke around 7 and took another swallow of NyQuil, and then slept until close to 11.  Just another normal day, if you don't count this damn cold, and not being able to breathe.
As I was lying in bed reading and playing on my tablet, I called my friend to remind her of my 31 party that is closing this evening, and discovered - to my horror - that I now can also just speak in a whisper, if even that.  I sound horrible!  Oh, this cold is not my friend at all.  Between the naggy non-productive cough, the not-being-able-to-breathe, and now the no voice, I am batting a thousand!  Wow.
I did get up and look out the window, knowing it must have snowed, if Ron took my car.  Yes, we DID get some snow, and it was still snowing.  I got the camera and took some pictures through the windows and went back to bed.  I finally got up a little after 2, and jumped into Happy Homemaker mode, getting the dishes from the weekend done.  I didn't do any laundry today, although I will tomorrow, just so it's all done before I leave.
I got my suitcase all packed.  I am ready to go, clothes-wise, anyway.
Around 5, I went outside to take pictures.  I went out the back door, and out along the back of the house and took some interesting pictures of the snow, then decided to go get the mail, and got some shots of the front yard, too.

When I came back in, Ron called me on the house phone.  He had texted, then called on my cell, but I never answered.  It was back in the bedroom, and I was out here in the living room!  I'm sorry that I worried him, but I just didn't think about carrying it out.   He got home soon after, and we made cheese weenies for our supper, with the leftover rice-a-roni and mixed veggies as sides.  It was a very warming supper, which we ate while watching Quantum Leap.
At 8:30, I turned on football, and here we are.  It's a lot of fun hollering at the TV with no voice.  Not!

Tomorrow all I have planned is to pack up my toiletries, finish up the cleaning and the little things I have on my list to do before leaving, and then meet Pam to close my 31 party later in the afternoon.  I also, sometime during the day, have to meet Lisa and take care of Secret Pal business (from church), too.  I just don't know when.  Then, TOPS meeting, as usual, and our fun evening at home.  Yee-haw.
