Today was a kinda strange day. For some reason, I woke up at 5:30 this morning. Yep. 5:30. I laid in bed and read, then finally turned the light back off at 8. When the alarm went off at 9, it was like 2 minutes had gone by. Needless to say, I didn't want to get up. But I did.
Off to church we went, and then we went to eat at Campbell's Barn. Today was our church's fundraiser day, so when we got there, we sat with a group of other people from church and it was a fun time. Ron had his chicken (as did others we were sitting with!) and I had the bacon cheeseburger with fries. We had such a good time, with no worries for a little while. We couldn't/didn't talk about OUR problems, and I think that helped relax us a lot.
After we came home, he watched TV and I played on the pute. After a little while, we went in to take a nap, which doesn't usually happen, but since my sleep was so interrupted, why not? The funny thing is, when the alarm went off again 2 hours later, Ron was trying to slip back into the bed - he couldn't 'go to sleep' while lying in bed and got back up, while I slept very well. (And, believe it or not, at just after 10, am quite ready to go back to bed!)
Around 7:30, we started looking for supper. I made myself a Hot Pocket and him one of his frozen Chinese things, so supper was taken care of. We have spent the evening watching game shows and not dead guys.
Yep, we are weird.
I put 'all' my food into MFP, and I am over in my calories for the day! I ate THREE things today - a bacon cheeseburger, an order of fries, and a Hot Pocket - and I had more than 1500 calories. See? It doesn't take much! No candy, no munchies, no nothing. I was going to when I went to bed and read a bit, but I guess I won't now. Jiminy.
Also, when I did my weigh-in this morning (because I forgot yesterday), I had gained 2 pounds. That's a little disconcerting - I thought I probably stayed the same. Bummer.
I am planning on enjoying having Ron home with me tomorrow!! We'll just have to do the worrying later.
