I woke up this morning, read just a couple of chapters of my book, and got up around 11:30 this morning. I was pretty proud of myself, seeing what I've done the last few days. I wasn't hungry when I woke up, but I'm usually not, so I didn't think much of it.
I spent the first couple of hours I was up playing Happy Homemaker and doing some paperwork that needed done, then I finally got my lunch - chicken salad and one of Ron's little fruit cups - and got on the pute for the afternoon.
After a while, I realized - hey, I'm hungry for some real food for supper! I went out to the freezer and looked around, finally deciding on pork chops, which I defrosted in the microwave and put on low in my cast iron skillet. Ron and I could figure out sides after he got home, but I thought that would be a good start to a good supper for a change.
Ron finally got home around quarter til six, and just about the first thing he says is, "We still have pork chops out there in the freezer, don't we? I feel like having a real supper tonight." I just said, "Yep."
After a few minutes, he sniffs real big and says, "Do you have something cooking?" I nodded and he said, "Is it pork chops?" I started laughing and he asked who read whose mind? Then he got up, went and puttered around the kitchen. When I went out there, he had started making sides for our supper! He made macaroni and cheese, as well as corn. It was a very good supper, and I enjoyed it very much.
I also ate a nut bar for my dessert, not long after our supper. I'm not sure why, chocolate just sounded good.
I put my food into MFP, and I was over 500 calories short for the day, so I went ahead and put in a bag of microwave popcorn and a glass of milk, then went and made myself that snack, even though it was after 10pm. That put me at about 350 short for the day, and I can handle that. (and then Ron woke up and decided he wanted some of my popcorn! shithead)
I think I may be back to NORMAL. No comments from the peanut gallery! Hahahaahahaha.
