I woke this morning around 10, as I have been doing, which was good, because I had to meet my youngest sister in Georgetown at 12:30. As you may or may not know, she is hard of hearing and she had a doctor's appointment - actually, a surgeon's appointment - and we all wanted to make sure all questions were asked and answered and everything was understood by everyone, most importantly Jean.
After the appointment - which went very well, I really liked this doctor! - we went to Country Inn for some food. She got lunch, and I got the big breakfast. We sat there and talked, a good sister-to-sister talk, for close to an hour and a half, and then she noticed the time. God only knows how long we'd have sat there if she hadn't seen the time! She had to be back to get Corgan after school, and now she had to hurry, and I still had to go to the store, so I decided to go to Save-A-Lot there in Georgetown instead of driving into Bethel and then home. That's the long way around!
I got home, played on the pute for a bit, then Ron got home and was fiddling around with my car out in the driveway and his phone rang. He had left it in the house, so I answered it. It was my brother David, and his truck had broken down and wanted Ron to come and tow it home. I took the phone out to Ron. Soon he came in, and I could tell by the look on his face that we were going back out. He moaned and groaned and cried, but we went and did the rescue.
I drove over to where David's truck was, they hooked the truck up with the tow bar, then Ron drove back to David's place and back home. That was our evening.
When we got home, which was after 8, we both heated up cans of soup for our suppers - him Broccoli Cheese and me Chicken Noodle. He had a peanut butter sandwich with his soup, too. We wanted something fast, and soup is definitely fast!
Not long after that, I made me a bag of popcorn and a glass of milk for a snack. While soup is fast, it's not really filling - lol.
When my food went into MFP, I was just over 200 calories short for the day. which kinda surprised me with that big breakfast and a snack. But I'll take it! Tomorrow should be a good day - I should be able to work in some exercise, too, it's supposed to be warm! Maybe I can walk outside! Yay!
I also get to do some baking and making tomorrow. It's gonna be a productive day! I'm looking forward to it. REALLY looking forward to it!!
I'm so tired of feeling like a loser - it will feel good to feel productive. Yes, it will.
