8/2

Once again, I forgot that today was Saturday.  What a dork I am - how can you forget what day it is?  But Ron had to work today, so it was a day just like every other day to me.  When I got up, I baked the cake I was making to take up to church, as my donation to the Pig Roast.  I was making this Tie-Dye Cake and I wanted to see their faces when they cut into it - it was gonna be awesome!  But - no, it didn't work out that way.  The damn cake stuck in the pan and I ended up having to run up to IGA and buying a cake (I was soooo pissed!) but at least I did get a donation up there, although I had to wait until Ron got home to do so.
I was too mad to do so right afterward, anyway.
He got home a little after 1, and I talked him into laying down and taking a nap while I went uptown and did the little bit of running I had to do.  There was no sense in him going with me.
I went up to Gold Star and got me a new clear 'pocket,' since I can't use my pockets while wearing my brace without pulling my pants down, then went to IGA and got the things I needed there, then on up to church to drop the cake off and chat with people and check out all the silent auction items.  I got back home and played on the pute until a thunderstorm forced me off the pute (I don't need a lightning strike frying my pute!), then I just went and laid down and read until the storm was over.  It was quite a fierce little storm!

When Ron got up, we decided to go over to the winery for our evening.  We had actually decided earlier, but just confirmed to each other that we still wanted to do this since it stormed, and we did.  We haven't been able to go, because we always have Corgan and we can't take him over there because of their liquor license (I believe), so we want to take advantage of this 'free' evening.
We packed up the leftover lunchmeat, and the grapes, bananas, and cherry tomatoes that I just bought, as well as the bag of chips - I know, BAD, but I couldn't resist - and that was gonna be supper.  We also took a couple bottles of water, and of course we will get a bottle of wine to drink throughout the evening.  For some reason, though, we got a red and not the blush, or rose, that we really like, and we didn't drink it all, but we had a most enjoyable evening.  The music was really good, and the night was pleasant, especially for early August!  We came home around 8:30, and I went straight to bed because my back was hurting so bad after all that.  I felt like such a wuss, but there it is.  I did stay up and read until midnight, as usual, so...

8/3

I remembered to do my weigh-in when I got up this morning, and I am happy to report a small weight loss!  Less than a pound, true, but a loss all the same.  I've only done all my exercises every day for this one week, so I guess I can't really expect too much more than that.
We went to church, then up to Georgetown to Country Inn to eat after that.  Ron got his fried chicken, and, for some reason, I was really hungry, and I not only got the big breakfast, but also a side order of goetta!  YUM.  I ate every single bite, and really enjoyed it, too.  I don't think I'll be eating like that again for quite some time, though.  I have got to get my ass back on track - even though I've been doing okay calorie-wise, with me doing so little exercise, I've got to really, really eat better, I see that now.
We got home, and I went to lay down for a bit while Ron went outside to mow and weedeat and all that fun stuff.  After a bit, I got up and played on the pute, then laid back down.  Up and down, two or three times, just like any other day.  Around 6, I made myself the last sausage, egg & cheese muffin for my sausage, which I ate with the rest of the Ruffles.  Then I had an ice cream bar as dessert - I don't even want to think about how many calories I had today!  Oh, was I bad, but damn did it all taste so good!

Looking forward to lunch tomorrow with my friend Kathy!  I will be good.  I will be good.  I will be good.
Maybe.
