Ron drove/rode the motorcycle today, so that I could have the truck for my lunch with Kathy. Normally, he would not have, because it was super foggy this morning - even at 4! - but he did, and I appreciated it. I would have got up and taken him, but sure didn't want to do that.
Then, around 9:30, I got a text. Kathy is not feeling well today, and has to cancel. Phooey! Do I make people sick or something? I'm gonna develop a complex here pretty soon...
We texted back and forth and came up with a plan to reschedule for Friday. We can't do the middle of the week because of the chance of rain. If it rains, Ron can't ride his bike, and he wants to do what he can to 'help' me.
Since I had the truck, and I was planning on stopping at Walgreen's to pick up prescriptions on my way home anyway, after I had let Ron know about the Change of Plans, we decided that I should go ahead and go to Amelia, because he's sure not gonna feel like going down there on a Monday evening. So - off I went. I stopped at Bob Evans and had lunch - the Chicken Salad Plate and banana nut bread - after putting gasoline in his truck, which was only 3 (THREE!) cents cheaper than Bethel. I was very surprised about that. Bethel is usually a dime or fifteen cents more!
Once I got back home, it was a normal day for me. Up and down, playing on the pute, etc. - I'll play Happy Homemaker tomorrow - until time to do my exercises. Then I rested until Ron got home, and we made our supper. We had hamburger patties, and we used the rest of the tomatoes we had. We had been given some from friends (homegrown!) and we had bought some to go with the lunchmeat down at Josh's, so Ron sliced the largest one for his sandwiches, and I cut the rest into chunks to eat with the hamburger on my plate.
When I put my food in MFP, as I figured, my lunch took most of my calories. Thanks to the exercise, I still came in under my goal, though, and that's a good thing! I sure wish I could come up with more exercise(s) to do, but I can't walk much yet, and I just don't know what else to do. I feel like such a wuss! I know I'm really not, but I still feel that way sometimes.
Ah, well. A 'normal' week coming up for me, then lunch plans for Friday! Yay!
Many birthday wishes (35! Ye gods!) to my wonderful son tomorrow.
