Ron let me sleep in this morning, and I did - til almost noon. It was really weird, because we didn't have Corgan this weekend, because of this new threat of snow. We weren't sure of the safely of getting him home, and didn't want to chance anyone's life, so we decided that it would be best to give it a break this weekend. We just spent the day watching movies (that we had received for Christmas) and it was a very, very nice day.
When I got up, he was watching his Smurf movies (he got both of them for Christmas). I got on the pute, as usual, and after a bit, made myself a packet of instant oatmeal for a bite to eat. I wasn't real hungry, but wanted something hot, and we are out of bread. After both Smurf movies were over, we then watched the Death Race movies, which he had also gotten for Christmas. These movies were a little confusing - the first one is the conclusion of the trilogy and should have been #3. Jason Strathan stars in this one -- Ron really likes this dude. He also played in The Transporter, and other crap like that. Anyway, it was okay, but then we went to watch Death Race 2, and it totally confused us, because it sure should have been before the first one! We just figured that it was the 'back story' to the first movie, and watched it. It had the ugly dude - Danny Trejo -- in it (not as the featured driver, but his crew chief) and Ving Rhames. It was okay, too, once you got into the story and didn't try to put the first movie into the story. On to #3.....this one continued the story of #2, and starred the same people as #2, so it wasn't as confusing moving between the movies, but they sure told the story out of order!!
After that, we watched Mr. and Mrs. Smith with Brangelina. It wasn't too bad, kinda comical. I kept telling the TV - 'people, TALK to each other!'
All through the day, I worked on Ron's quilt, too, trying to get that stitching done. I didn't quite make it, but I got a lot more done. Man, is that some tedious work.
I made us Johnny Marzetti for our supper. It was super delicious! We devoured the whole pan!
When I put my food into MFP, I was 60 calories over for the day. SIXTY! I'll take it.
We are hoping that we will be able to get out and go to church and lunch, and maybe go out and ask for donations for the Quarter Auction tomorrow. We shall have to see. They are saying more snow during daytime hours tomorrow. We. shall. see. If not, we have more movies - after we stop at the store for bread and milk! Eeeeeeee.....the White Death is coming (Again)!!!
