Long lazy day around here

Thursday, January 16, 2014

I woke up this morning around quarter til nine, and let myself doze off and on until nine thirty.  Then I had to get up and pee, so I just read for a bit after that.  I finished the book and put it in my give-to-Ruth pile, and got up.  I didn't really have any plans for today, just thought I might go down the road and start on getting donations for the Quarter Auction, but I didn't really feel like getting dressed, so I didn't.  I just got on the pute and piddled around, catching up my games.

While on the pute, I sent off a couple more job applications.  I am a glutton for punishment, I guess.  That, or I love being told I am a loser (which is what a rejection letter, or not hearing at all from them tells you) over and over again.  Bah!  I can wait until next week to make a different step toward something different.

Around 1:30, I go to the kitchen to find my lunch.  I choose my chicken salad and had some pretzels to go along with it.  Just one serving of them - I've GOT to get back on track in that department!  Then it was back on the pute for the afternoon.  Whee.
Ron got home around 4.  We both did our Wii.  Ron had lost a little - less than a pound, and I had gained less than a pound.  Less than what he lost, but still a gain.  Shit.
We decided to use up the end of the bag of potatoes for our supper.  They were starting to grow out the eyes, so it was time.  So, he peeled those last 4 potatoes and I sliced them and fried them (in olive oil) with onions and snausages (Lil Smokies) and we had fried potatoes, with meat & onions, for our supper.  I also had 2 slices of Colby Jack cheese, just to "beef" it up a little.
After a couple hours, I made myself a bag of microwave popcorn and had a cup of milk with it.  I also think that this is the last time I will be doing this, too.  As stated above, I've GOT to get back on track!  I've played around for a week now, and that's long enough!

When I put all this food into MFP, I was just under being 300 calories short for the day.  That is good, and I think that next week, I am going to look into lowering my number on MFP and getting much more strict with myself.   Getting back into a routine with exercise every day somehow.  Either on the Wii, or the damn exercise bike.  I want to have to buy even sexier jeans!  LOL  I do know that it will be quite a while, but it is something to strive for.  My goal for my Easter basket!  A new pair of jeans - a size or two smaller.
