Me & Ron, alone on a snowy Saturday

Saturday, December 7, 2013

Today was a kinda strange Saturday.  Just me and Ron here, by ourselves, with no plans.  No Corgan - because of the bad weather yesterday - and no big plans for the day, mostly because of the weather, but some because we expected to have Corgan and were planning on doing stuff with him.

Started off by getting up around 10.  Well, Ron did, then I did by 10:30.  I did my weigh-in for my Biggest Loser contest, and I lost about half a pound this week - which is very good, considering that I didn't do one lick of exercise all week.  I definitely need to step that up, because the holiday is coming quickly and I've GOT to be able to stave off any damage that I can!

I then cleaned off my kitchen table, then covered it with our Christmas cards and all that paraphernalia, and started in on getting our cards done.  This is always a major job, taking the better part of three days (at a minimum) and a lot of decisions.  I am already disappointed in my selection of cards...lol.  Ron told me to go with it, anyway.  Men!
At 12:30, it was time for cleaning up, showering, changing, and off to a 'celebration of life' for an old friend who had passed away.  We enjoyed going the daughter's house, and seeing everyone, and talking and telling stories and all that.  We shared a plate of food (pork tenderloin, green beans, salad and veggies) and talked some more, then came back home around 2.
Well.  OK.  Now what?
I played on the pute for a bit.  Ron, of course, played his DS and, after a bit, turned on the TV and we started watching Christmas love movies.  Well, he did mostly, because I started in on the Christmas cards again.
At 7, I started our supper.  Fish and tater tots.  We checked all the sodium numbers for Ron - he could have 2 fish patties and 9 tater tots (one serving).  And I get all the rest!  Wow.  I'm glad the bag of tater tots was almost empty!
Then, it was movies and pute for me, movies and DS for him.  LOL - we are a couple of old geezers.

When I put my food into MFP, I was over 200 short for the day.  I was surprised, with the high-carb supper, but - there it was.  I am happy with it.

Food today is getting four stars.  I was under on calories, and it was yummy.
Exercise, blah.
